Welcome to the official website of The Laryngospasms, a group of practicing Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists who create and perform medical parodies for audiences throughout the United States. Since the group's inception at a 1990 Christmas party, the group has recorded two albums, three videos, and has been featured in numerous publications, radio & television shows. So c'mon in, kick off your shoes, grab your favorite beverage & enjoy!

Spasms to perform in Wisconsin

The Laryngospasms are going to help the Wisconsin Association of Nurse Anesthetists celebrate their 75th anniversary by performing at their gala dinner, March 24th. We're looking forward to getting together with our anesthetist neighbors from Wisconsin and the opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones. Hope to see some MSA grads there! And too bad about what happened with the Packers. We were so hoping someone from the North would represent. At least y'all didn't have to suffer through our year with the Vikings. It's CRNA Week!

It's Nurse Anesthetist week, 2012! So sometime from January 22-28, give a CRNA you know a hug and tell them how much you appreciate what they do. And remember, CRNAs pass the best gas!
